I give him credit for throwing the Bush administration under the Straight Talk Express because of their corruption. The end of the speech was the most inspiring I've ever seen him.

I don't know how much I missed, but I turned it on around 10:20 EST and while I am pro McCain anti Obama, I have to admit that Obama held my attention better than McCain and also that Obama was a more powerful speaker.
I agree with McCain's policies, ideas, etc but god damn I think he is milking his POW experience too fucking much and when he talked about it tonight I shook my head and thought, "here we go again".
While Obama's speech was more powerful and attention gripping, I felt McCain's was more genuine as Obama carries himself as nothing more than a rhetorical orator reciting a canned speech penned by othersComment

Nobody is done. There are two months until the election. In a few weeks half the country will have forgotten what anyone at any of these conventions has said. Both parties did a good job. They put their best foot forward and made their case. Now they get to actually answer questions and not just give speeches and we will see who really has a hold on this election.Comment

If, when you say Obama is done, you mean done campaigning for the day, then yes, you are correct.
If you meant to imply that McCain was going to win this election, you're delusional.
I obviously don't have a crystal ball or anything, but ANY professional political operative, from either party, will tell you off the record that the republicans have no chance this year. They're going to get creamed, and that starts at the top of the ticket.
Things are fucked up and the voters want their pound of flesh, and they're going to take it out on whoever happens to be on the ballot in November.
