Dubai is the financial hub of the middle east, and a lot of the money goes through there....even the money funding terrorist organisations...so trust me nothing is going to happen to dubai as long as the money is still flowing in and out of it. Dont get all your info from fox news or cnn, try broadening your horizons a bit and you may see that even Arab countries are moving towards a more modern lifestyle, especially the younger generation.

Just cause the media shows a bunch of fanatics jumping up and down shooting their guns doesnt mean the whole of the middle east lives like that. Travel a bit outside your borders and you may realize it.

i was in dubai last year.. i actually went to the site where burj dubai was being built.AMAZING!

Dubais main source of $$ is tourism not oil.. Its fucking amazing what they got going on there in dubai.. they are building dubai world, and when its finished itll be bigger than dubai itself.. yeah bigger than dubai.. not only that but itll be way bigger than disney world and basically as big as some cities in USA..Talk about major tourist attraction.

Dubai is way fun.. I went dune bashing.. dune buggying.. desert safari.. clubs.. lounges..

fucking nice place, no tax on shit, and $>dirharms is like 3.something so shit is cheap.. i mean i bought a sandwich from a deli for like 3 dirhams, thats less than $1..

I also bought gas for $1something/gallon... OMG i bought a samsonite suitcase for 60dhs, which is less than $20USD.lol

Nothing like TAXfree/Dutyfree places..

I thought about living in dubai but i would have to get sponsored.. but its fun going there, lotsa chics there too..
