    What type of webcams?

    I got a question.

    What kinda webcams are webgirls using these days. I see lots of them with remotes around them operating the cams, tilting, panning, zooming. Just curious whats the best way to go these days. Have a few female friends that want to start doing webcams part time. And just want to direct them into the right direction.

    I know alot of years ago the Ex and I used a sony evi-d30. Just figured by now they would have something out that was cheaper and did the same thing.

    Also on the same note what programs are good for a part timing cam girl to sign up with? I was looking at peekshows.com (not interested in ifriends.net to many bad past experiences)

          Quite a few girls are using Sony EVID100 Cameras

          Sony have a new HD version now but at $3,500 I think many will wait for the price to drop and dont know of anyone using it yet.

          Of course some use logitech $50 - $100 but when your trying to get up to 5.99 + a minute ,they just dont cut it.

          Best site ? from all the data I have it would be cams.com ,but then again thats only my recommend.

              The EVI d100 is overkill on most networks as is HD. You'll never even use a fraction of it's capability because of the caps on bandwith and whatnot.

              The Evi d30 is still a great camera, and at a fraction of the price.

              A lot of girls do use the crappy logitech cams, but you get what you pay for. It's easier to sign girls up with their own equipment if there's less initial investment involved, but at the same time, the lack of income from using a crappy camera can be discouraging.

              you should look at some of the bigger networks, rather than ifriends and peekshows. Those venues don't have the following they've had in the past, nor the potential for income.

                  Well I know she isn't going to drop $3500 for a cam just for a part time thing. And really for start up can go a little lesser in cost, I think the D30 is in the $500 range. As for the cam network I guess it really doesn't matter, was going to just setup a basic site with her name in the URL for easy way for her customers to find her. And just have a online/offline pic or link on that page with maybe a simple schedule. Plus it won't hurt to have the extra traffic from the site as well.

                  I agree the ifriends sorta networks don't have the same following back when I use to do it. Even looking at how many cam girls are on there have dropped big time. I guess the other thing I didn't mention was the friends that are interested in doing this are dancers. Since the guys always want more and my friends aren't interested in getting dirty in the clubs, figured this would be a good way to expand on their existing clients.
