Just the States I think and also doesn't include PBS which reported that their ratings were roughly 3 million per day and 3.5 million on the final speech.

They might if it would lull people into a false sense of security and build up a sense that Obama supporters don't even need to go vote for him because there's so much support for him that everyone else will vote for him so YOU don't have to.

I'm not saying that the numbers are inflated -- I have no idea -- just that people who want Obama to lose could have a lot to gain by making people plan to stay home or ignore their mail-in ballots instead of vote for Obama.
