In 2004 it was said that white women gave Bush white house, because they were scared, and BUSH brought certainty that he was going to keep them safe. Now you have one of thier own. A working Mom! running for VP.

				 | Neither am I. I did grow up in the States and having lived in the Philly and Boston area there are not many people I know of that haven't heavily relied on public transport at some part of their lives. Because something isn't part of the reality of one part of America doesn't mean it isn't real for the other part. |

				 | Desperation move to try and peel off some Hillary Clinton supporters. When you make your whole campaign about having experience and your opponent being inexperienced, why would you pick someone with less experience than Senator Obama (and Gov Palin has ZERO national security experience) and put her a heartbeat away from the Presidency?

An Alaska VP is not going to make Republicans take out their checkbooks to write donations to McCain. It may make many Americans from large cities take out their checkbooks for Obama. New York wasn't ever going to vote for McCain... motivating New Yorkers to send more money to Obama was a bad political move. Do you know anyone MORE likely to send money to McCain now that he has chosen an Alaskan VP? I don't. On the other hand, like him or not, Biden brings a hell of a lot more financial backing to Obama's campaign than many other choices would have brought. | |

				 | Funny how the McCain campaign were all over the inexperienced, youth of Obama (which is bullshit) and now get someone as VP that is 3 years YOUNGER? LOL... this certainly puts the nail in the already built McCain chances of winning this election. GO BAMA! |

				 | Obama has alot more experience than she does. Before governor she was the mayor in a city of 6500 people for christ's sake. Actually this is an insult to women, he thinks they are so stupid that just because she is a woman they will vote for her. Spoke to my dad who is a Fox news lover. He thinks she is going to bring 9 million of the 18 million Hilary voters. I wanted to ask him if he was high. lol |

				 | BTW... You don't need experience to be the President of the United States. You just need to know how to lead and run a business effectively. That rules out 99.9% of GFY... Maybe we can get 12clicks to run... |

I'm saying McCain is going to have a hard time attacking Obama over experience now, when his VP pick has less experience than Obama. Especially after McCain said earlier that he realizes the heightened importance of the pick because of his age.

				 | Obama picks a really old guy, and McCain picks a pretty attractive younger woman. They both played towards their weaknesses ... though I have to say McCain did choose a pretty amazing person. The Obamabots will rubbish anything McCain does but still people who still have the ability to think for themselves will admit this was a masterful choice

BUT, when McCain talks about how Obama isn't ready to be President all Obama has to do is point at Palin, who has less experience than he does, but whom McCain thinks worthy of being a heartbeat away from the Presidency. It's not about something Obama can attack. It's about McCain losing his biggest talking point with this pick.

Two very different things. AGE is a word McCain doesn't want to bring up at all in this election.
