Obama vs. McCain - what they're reading

    http://www.google.com/googlereader/p...ers/index.html

Apparently, both campaigns are trying to portray their candidates as uninformed idiots to the public.

Wasn't McCain the guy who was proud of never having used a computer just a few months ago and now he wants us to believe he reads Drudge? Please.

assistants + printers = no need for computers.

or was that too hard to figure out?

This isn't supposed to represent what they're reading. It's supposed to represent what their campaigns think the voters would like them to read.

And, apparently, both campaigns agree that voters want a President who is as uninformed as they are.

I guess I should have informed the readers gfy I was being sarcastic. My point is that McCain is proud to not be a computer user until he realizes that many people in this country are and now he wants to seem like he is connected to them and has something in common with them.

Obama isn't any better, he wants to seem cool and in touch as well, it is just a bigger stretch for McCain.

I think it is more that they want the voters to think they have something in common with the candidate. They can say. Oh, Obama watches the Daily Show? Me too. Or McCain reads Drudge? I love that site.

                      It smacks or Irony.

The dumbing down of the candidates for the people has really started.

I would die laughing if Obama actually watched The Daily Show. Maybe he is into it, but I doubt it...
