The way I see it...

Knowing a problem exhists requires intelligence.
Solving a Problem takes intelligence and action.

The attempt at solving a problem with an unknown variable is intelligent even if the means to solving the problem does not lead to an immediate solution. The smartest of people fail far more than they succeed.

I can not say Jon's method is working or even if it is the correct method. There is to little information. But comming to a board claiming a solution exhist's is not going to cut it even if it is the right solution.

Odd's are it is the wrong solution and I would reccomend testing.

Testing requires involvement of others, thus a chance to network and get the concept out to people that can determine if it works. You can not just step out on the plate and claim a solution without proof.
