Storm Sensualization and News Marketing of Hurricanes
All i read is how bad the weather is and how new orleans is expecting 12 inches of rain by the end of the night.
ummm... the news is telling lies to the world because it is sunshine and not even raining here. But if you turn on the news, they want you to believe a hurricane is coming. the local news perpetrates the idea so people run out and buy all the bottled water off the shelves and stock up on groceries = economy LOL its all sensualization after Katrina and how hurricanes now are big news topics. its a beautiful day here, no rain. all sun and fun. dont believe the news

 I experienced this first hand when I was in Tampa last week... The news made it seem like the city was a disaster zone, and my friends and family were calling me warning me to "get out of tampa!!!", while the local weather station was forecasting light showers... |
