It is all done for me...I have contracts with some of the biggest UK photographers John Mason and many more...They do the hard work I just run the web based side.

Actually when choosing a sponsor always test your links...if consoles fly up all over the place without your code on them and it becomes a wanker to get through the tour then fuck them....they have no interest in converting the traffic within themselves and would prefer to send the traffic to someone else and make cash....

Rule Number 6

Beta test your sites to fuck....This is a link to a leading UK base porn forum. I gave 15 forum regulars a user name and pass and had them post their reviews of the site on the forum.

It increased publice awareness of the sites and also gave me tons of feedback before going live. It also enabled us to find any fuck ups that we had made in the sites and enabled us to iron out the bugs..

I am posting under the name of Bob Spunkhouse....I had hyped the sites up on there for a week before giving the pass. This also enabled me to build up pre-launch publicity and the fact that virtually every UK pervert reads this board got the sites credibility with regard to the claims made on the tours.

I know what you mean. When the going was good with Clickcash they rocked. I didn't want to promote any other sponsors because I was getting 1:50-1:100 with them.

But then early this year the conversions took a dive and haven't recovered. I still use them, but now I've diversified.

No you are lowering company risk by having more....it is better to have 30 sponsors paying you $100 per month than one paying $3000.....To make a $100 from 30 is one TGP post per day for each one....:Graucho

The bloke that runs this stie is a friend of mine called Joe A. He has a tons of Indian partner programs that are all based around his exclusive content....This could be somewhere for someone trying to find an Indian niche sponsor.

I would never sell traffic to someone cash up front. Also Sleazy you state that TGP's are the big earners in this business..the day that a TGP earns the biggest check from me is the day I quit this business....The TGP's have only ever earned pocket change.

I have big TGP's based across Europe sending traffic to me...ok you want to hear it lets say it..The boys sending out the big 'opt' in email lists make you the cash...


I have been going around buying the email lists from sites that have been shutting because of Visa and they are making more through sending out the lists for me then they were running their own sites.

there's a reason big sites want nothing to do with email lists...... you might make a quick buck now but the hammer will fall on that marketing venue. Too many grandmas that have never surfed porn in their lives are getting bombarded with porn spam. Most lists that say they are double opt in arn't.

As for how many sponsors an affiliate should have, shouldn't that be based on sending the level of traffic that gets you the highest payout? so sending to 10 sponsors getting their top payout instead of 20 getting the standard payout.

How about these features for affiliates:

1) Let tours be customizable. Have multiple tours to choose from.

2) Offer a link back on the tour

3) Let the affiliate choose consoles or not (with credit)

4) Offer the affiliate's own popup - total credit to affiliate

???

I run between 20 and 30 sponsors every month and usually try out 2 to 4 new ones. Most programs only have a few sites that will convert with my traffic. I'd say I advertise 50 to 75 different sites.

Yes I totally agree the lists have to be opt in...that is why CEN now have people there who get the affiliates to sign contracts or some shit before they mail out...but the big money is made in mailers....

I totally agree with all the points made here....I have probably signed up to hundreds of programs in my time and basically over the years I have trimmed it down to ones that I know pay month in month out...

I agree try out all sponsors till you hit the golden egg

but always send to a few there are many good programs out there.
