Well to be honest there isnt much above board that is FDA aproved and works
I have found that contacts help more than anything
I have read on forums that botox and this surgery where they cut the muscle to the eyes etc etc will slow it down and help you find your null point... but I tell you its hard as hell in life on a person like me with nystagmus
I could tell you stories that would have you rolling onthe floor
the only reason I am even able to talk about it now is because I have reached a point in my life where I could care less what other people thinkComment

I used to check that site all the time and was going to go to the convention in boston ... but the guy who is in charge of the yahoo chat is a complete ass
I suggested that maybe there should be an area for adults with N to networking etc maybe even dating and he completely blew his lid
since then I have steered clear
What I can tell you is the the euoropeans are ages ahead of us in the study of N I have donated money and even signed up to participate in studies etc
my opthamologist advised me to stay away from surgery pending any advancements in stem cell research and FYI... both myself and my brothers all have N

As far as i know it skips a generation.
no one else is my very large family has any major eye conditions.
My gradpa who passed away in 1970 might have had, but thats just speculation on my part...Comment

no and that's the weird thing about it, however it is possible as I do not know a large part of my family due to the fact that they are german and have never been to the states.
I will say this tho... although it can be a pain sometime... I am not sure I would take it back if it changed who I am as a person. For me N has allowed me to see things in people and in life itself that people without it could never understand... just like my brain adapted to the condition I adapted to life and I believe the constant brain activity required to keep my world in one place also causes my brain to function in overdrive
that's just a theory
