I'm coming off of a cold and I've been busier than a one armed wallpaper hanger with crabs for the past couple of weeks. All good stuff, business is booming, but man I'm getting burned out this week.

What do you guys do to relax and recharge your batteries?

yep, I usually take a walk to the coffee shop 5-6 blocks away. takes about 25 minutes, lets my eyes rest PLUS i get some caffeine in me

Damn.... I'm torn.

I'm equally enticed by taking a nice walk, getting stoned, and cranking up on caffeine.

I can combine two of those things, but not all three for sure.

fresh air always helps me. take the walk while eating the new snickers bar that contains caffeine, taurine and dosed with b vitamins (did that the other day and was wired). or.............get the air, get a massage, take a nap and all will be right when you wake up.

Hmmmm.
The problem is, there is soooo much business to be had I find it almost impossible to walk away and chill except when I make a big deal of it and force myself to take a vacation or a long weekend away or something.

I always said I'd get to a certain level and then just chill out, but there's just so much good stuff to do! Damn.

Okay, Friday night. I'll crank till Friday night, and then kick back hard.

Haven't had that new Snickers yet. Used to live off the regular snickers in college. Are they good?

I just take like half a day and do whatever I want. A few weeks ago I did this. I stopped working around noon then hit up a big bookstore I like and got a few new books then a friend and I went out to lunch and went to see a movie. I came home that night and just relaxed, watched sportscenter ate some ice cream, jerked off and went to bed. I didn't check email or stats or anything on the computer once I took off at noon and the next day I felt great, was fully recharged and ready to work.

Another thing I have done is drive over to the beach for a couple of days. I don't know where you live but maybe just get out of town for a couple of days, rent a hotel room and just relax. Read a book, watch a movie or two have a few good meals and just unwind then head home and get at it.

snickers was my lunch in college too

being a snickers connoisseur i can say you will notice the difference but still a good way to indulge and get wired at the same time. it tastes like dark chocolate with some extra little bite in there, go for it.
