    i bought 100 shares of GM @ 3.40 per share this morning.

    for historical purposes.
    want to buy this spot for cheap? it is of course for sale. long term deals are always the best bet. brand0n/ at/ a o l dot commies.

      that a little bit of money for "history". Do you think you'll profit? I'd worry to speculate in these times and market to buy anyone's stocks, even at the prices they dropped to.

          I think that FORD at $3.04 per share would be a better play at this time but if it is for historical purposes then GM would be the better bet.

              Chrysler LLC will be out before GM and Ford...

              I will buy some GM and Ford not for historical purposes but for the sake that the company will goto $5.00 then I will Dump it...lol

              Oil is my BIG play for the WEEK ; get in and get some $$$

                                  make sure you get the stock certificates if you're really doing it for historical pruposes.

                                  you should be able to sell them for $10 on ebay in a couple of months

                                              i bought 200 shares of ford for the same reason at 1.60.

                                              but i sold it at 2.84 just because i could

                                              had a nice dinner courtesy of ford

                                                  I'm not a Ford fan, but from what I hear they have more funds to last them... GM would go down before Ford does.
