Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

What % of new affils ever send a hit?
Program owners:
What percentage of people that signup to your affiliate program ever actually send traffic and/or sales? 1 in 2? 1 in 5? 1 in 10? I'm always amazed by how few people actually send traffic after signing up. What's the point of creating an account. |

What percentage of program owners ever respond to affiliate applications?
I'm always amazed by how few programs ever bother to acknowledge a new affiliate application. What's the point of having an application form? |

More seriously, it's been my experience that it's usually impossible to find out whether an affiliate program will meet my needs until I sign up. What does the stats package look like? Is there a decent amount of affiliate content? Are the affiliate rules sensible, or bizarre? A lot of times you have to sign up to find out.
If I send traffic to 15% of the programs I sign up for, I'm doing well. Far too many affiliate programs are useless or just don't meet my needs. |

what Forkbeard said, for me personally, I am happy if I find 10% of the programs I sign-up for within my needs.

Most programs sit around the low teens for a active webmaster base. 10% seems to be about what any awake program can reach. Getting up to 20% or higher means the program is contacting new and old Webmasters and working with them more one on one.
Or, they totally kick ass.
