Best way to sell an entire record collection. Plus Decks.

There's some stores here in L.A. but I don't feel like lugging that shit around store to store.

Anyone know any buyers for DJ records?

I have an ass load of vinyl taking up my house and to be honest no use for it anymore.

The turntables are easy. They don't lose value.

One is autographed by Grandmaster Flash.

Had him do it at a show we booked him for in San Diego in 2005.

Time to get this shit out of my house.

Man thats a shame. I sold off a shitload this year too. It was a wrench.

Most went on ebay and discogs.com. As for bulk sales, you won't get nearly what they're worth... best to advertise locally, on craigslist and sites like that. You might get a collector. The signed deck I would definitely bang on ebay seperately.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. kind of what i was thinking. parting them out will be more effort, but make more money.

Just treat it like a business. List the tunes on whatever sites you decide to use, most expensive first, then just do a weekly post run when they sell...

thanks. If I told you how much I have in them and how much I'll get back, it would make baby jesus cry.

i'm sure you know that though, seeing how you have done what I am about to do.

Mate I share your pain. Although I've had some awesome bargains over the years so selling tunes for $100 + that I paid pennies for helped alleviate the hurt.

I still love my vinyl and will be building it back one day...

Call me really weird but I would put up a quick site for this... anytime you put an ad out, leave your sites address. Each buyer may find something else that they like.

Domains are less than $10 and the effort you put towards putting up a simple site will be much less than a lot of other hassles you can go through.

I get a lot of my vinyl from craigslist... People put up massive lots for pickup..

The single rare stuff worth $$ i'd put on e-bay.

Definitely going to be a pain in the ass if you have to name every single record / single you have and let people pick and choose a couple here a couple there..
