    Are you thankful for the invention of the "optical mouse"?

    I am.
    I just had a flash back of the days of taking my mouse apart every month to get all the cat hair and other shit out of the roller ball.

    Plus the precision was never as good as these opticals.

    This thread is dedicated to the optical mouse and whomever is responsible for it.

          No, but I am for the optical trackball (VERY thankful - Cat hair was the killer of mine too). Using a mouse gives me carpal tunnel.

                                              I can remember slamming my mouse down over and over to try to get the ball back to tracking correctly. I hated those fuckers.

                                              I've got this now, and the fast scroll feature nearly made me creamy the first time I used it.

                                                                                  I hate infra red, optical, laser and all that other shit. Why not just have a regular trackball? I could give a fuck if it gets jammed once in a while, at least i wont get cancer on my hand.

                                                                                      I love that mouse. I got that because the touchpad on my laptop stopped scrolling and I cant be happier. I have http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...ONTENTID=10776 for the desktop and highly recommend it.
