BBC and other media companies were keep silence almost 24 hours - all the time when the Ossetian people were slaughtered. And only Russian media was showing all that hell. Actually almost the only. Georgian news also translated their "victorious" war which they called "clean field". When they came into Tshinvali, Saakashvili was very happy and even announced that Georgian army has gain over South Ossetia. I saw it all. Your lovely BBC was showing nothing. Once again: there were no sides during almost 24 hours. The second side (Russia) came to help Ossetians when Tshinvali was almost destroyed. I don't really care if you understand it or not.

You don't understand one simple thing. There was NO RUSSIA when Georgian army started bombing Tshinvali and 350 Russian peacekeepers located there and armed with AK's only. They were killing civilians all the night until Russia haven't moved its forces to protect South Ossetia. So there was ONLY ONE SIDE - the aggressor. Don't you really think that Georgia was able to do this if Russian army was in located in Tshinvali prior the attack? You can agree or disagree to the news, but how about a simple human logic? Georgian Army turned back right then Russian military forces took a stand between them and Tshinvali. And only after that western media woke up and started crying about "those brutal Russians" But it was too late... many hundreds of Ossetian civilians (including women and kids) and 12 Russian peace keepers were killed.

I think the media will be able to sell stupid people anything they want, after all many Americans actually thought it was Russians attacking the state of Georgia in the US, and if they're confused to that level then you may as well not even bother... sad but true.
