Photographers D3 or D700 ????
I havent really kept up with new SLR cameras coming out but recently received a mail from BH photo about the D700. It is supposedly very similar to the D3, same chip, same color processor, same metering system, but it takes both DX and full frame lenses. Only downfall is the max pixels shot with a DX lens is that much smaller compared to the shots taken with a full frame lens.. but the quality is still outstanding.
It was mentioned that the D3/D700 has great low light capabilities and a much wider dynamic range, does anyone have numbers on this? experience? It might be time to upgrade my reliable D2X.... |
