Yeah, the natural reaction (as evident by the reactions in this thread) is to believe whatever the cops allege. At this point, it's just unsubstantiated allegations. It wouldn't be the first time that eye witnesses (those directly involved as well as 3rd parties who happened to be in the vicinity) and camcorders have a far different account of what happened than the cops.

I say wait and see what the evidence shows.

Police officers patrolling Mtl North deal with these gangs daily. It is no secret that Mtl north s divided and ruled by street gangs. for an officer to draw his gun he must feel in danger. a person rushing for a drawn gun is just as dangerious as a person with a drawn gun. Iehter way the same result will occur.

the gun will go off.

Bottom line is it's never good when a young life gets taken. When a cop shoots an un armed 18 year old kid (when no laws were being broken at the time and no matter what part of town they're in) the cop is to blame. Some of you seem to forget that the police have to SERVE and PROTECT! Not to shoot you in the face if he thinks you're getting out of line.
