funny you mention that...I agree...its being held in Hong Kong where I live and weeks leading up to it there were massive lines with people trying to get tickets and on opening day people were waiting since 4 am local time to get through security and make sure they were there to see everything. Once the actual event (dressage I believe) started people were like wtf? is this it? and started walking out, apparantly a lot of people fell asleep in their chairs and by the end of the event half the crowd was already gone.
On local radio they called it a "boring" event and that there was no point in going. The city spent like $100mil to develope the venue and stable areas and all the people who waited in line to get tickets had no idea what the event actually was, some actually thought it would be horse racing...and they didnt realize that "cheering" during the event was banned.
Funniest shit ever as the city was so hyped that it would get an Olympic event, and of all the things they gave us the equestarian. And the only reason we got that was cause the horse trainers were worried about health/diseases in China that could affect their horses.Comment

Yeah horse racing is huge, also a lot of fun to go to even if you arnt a betting man. The Hk Jockey Club footed the bill for the equestarian venue as they want to use it for their own purposes after the olympics are over. Its a shame cause they destroyed a beautiful park thats been there for decades to build the stables and viewing areaComment

Shooting is most boring thing i can think of.
Other then that, boring thigns to me are swimming, women basketball, synchornised water jumps, and water jumps. That's it.
