Wow, what a great song. People can say what they want about the guy, but he's one of the most talented people in the business when it comes to writting songs. I've downloaded "Lose Yourself" from Kazaa after seeing the video yesterday and I'm hooked on the song, it's great. I'm not much into rap, but for Eminem, I make an exception.

One thing about one of the song lyrics makes me wonder though, he says "Mom I love you, but this trail has got to go. I can not grow old in Salem's Lot, so here I go is my shot, feet feel me not, cause this maybe the only opportunity I got." Does that mean that he's trying to get back in good with his mom OR since the song is from the movie "8 Mile", which is about him making it, is it relating to life back then ?

the song was about before he made it big. i went to the video shoot in detroit for the song but in the scene i was in i was so small because there was so many people that you cant tell who is who.
