I noticed years ago that the cameras almost never film female gymnists below the waist. Whenever you see a female gymnist below the waist, the majority of the time, it is in a distant full body shot (Female beach volleyball is also filmed exactly the same way). Female gynmists are filmed in this manner, because the Olympics wants to avoid filming possible pussy slips and camel toes as much as possible.
