The only problem with this is there is an end of the road where escalation of value loses momentum and the threat of possible price correction comes forth. The greatest fool eventually takes the lose. It will not endlessly be flipped for profit. That much is a given. |
If the domain would have belgium and dutch traffic (1k/day) 65k would be a faire price. But the traffic is from India-hardly convertible..
|
who cares about the traffic? the traffic is a minor consideration in this kind of purchase
|
isnt kut 'pussy' or 'cunt' in dutch too?
|
M M,
whatever you do, do not listen to gfyers for advice on what to do about purchasing any domain names. It is constant negativity. Buying that domain would be a solid investment if your looking to hold onto it for 4-6 years, period. Just in the past 2 years alone, 3 letter domains have jumped up in price quite nicely. I have seen shitty 3 letter domain names sell for more than 65k, at the end of the day the only person you can trust is yourself. |
they are looking for orkut.com that is the exact ratio of people who use orkut.com
|
I wouldnt do it even if I had the money to piss away.
65K can do alot of things, including making more money than that domains cost over 5 years if not longer. Unless of course it's just a speculative buy to sell at a higher price. Which I guess is viable. |
i just offered him 80k.. :)
so no need to worry about buying at 65k.lol just kiddin |
Kit.com sold for $75,ooo last year

kit.com is not kut.com
kit means tons of shit |
if kit sold 75k, then kut is def not worth 65k
|
I think India will be more convertable in the future, say 5 years to 10 years. Are there any good ways now to get revenue from india?
|
You could buy ten three letter domains at sedo for that price. Just something to consider.
|
backs away slowly....
|
i think that the domain is awesome but the pricing is a tad high. i agree with the ppl 10-20k tops. kut or kutty is also used as a slang in the south for sex along with trim.

So how much will it be worth in 5 years? 100K? Will it be worth $1,000,000 in 50 years? Do you think its going to go up forever? When it finally reaches the top what do you think will happen? This type of thing has happened again and again throughout history. You see domains go up in value for 10 - 20 years and you just assume that there will always be somebody there to pay more down the road. Doesn't work like that, never has. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulip_mania |
