whatever you do, do not listen to gfyers for advice on what to do about purchasing any domain names.
It is constant negativity.
Buying that domain would be a solid investment if your looking to hold onto it for 4-6 years, period.
Just in the past 2 years alone, 3 letter domains have jumped up in price quite nicely.
I have seen shitty 3 letter domain names sell for more than 65k,
at the end of the day the only person you can trust is yourself.

So how much will it be worth in 5 years? 100K?
Will it be worth $1,000,000 in 50 years?
Do you think its going to go up forever?
When it finally reaches the top what do you think will happen?
This type of thing has happened again and again throughout history. You see domains go up in value for 10 - 20 years and you just assume that there will always be somebody there to pay more down the road. Doesn't work like that, never has.
