a note - the first internext convention I went to there was a booth giving away videos - one of the movies was called persian kitty. Many people looked at them and took the movies without a second thought, (course I just grabbed a bunch of them cause it was free stuff to snag) but TheHun got very upset the INSTANT he saw the movie title because he felt they were infringing on YOUR Persian Kitty trademark and told that to a lot of people.

The Hun doesn't just try and protect his own work, he looks out for other people as well. I was very impressed with that and threw the movie that I had with that title in the garbage. (I actually hadn't looked at the title till he pointed it out).

This post cracks me up...everyone is gonna sue so and so for that...redirecting traffic is not illegal. The laws regarding imgsrc are just as nebulous.

If someone starts messing with my money, which is how my kids eat, I pay my mortgage, go on vacations, put my kids through college and survive.

1. You ask them nice to stop
2. You tell them too stop
3. You demand they stop
4. You make them stop...period.

I could care less about laws, legalities, hurt feelings or anything else...I would make sure he stopped, and would even take measures to make sure he couldn't do it again. Honest webmasters don't have to worry about these things...it's the dishonest ones that cause situations like today.

Hun, anything you need, there are people that will help you. Have you forgotten about Cyberthrill? Gee, that was illegal as it gets...but they aren't cheating anymore, thanks to some good guys and help from fellow webmasters. Glad I hang on that board, too.

This is a really interesting thread, and that's fun for me that The Hun is lying through the whole trhead.

First of all, I didn't receive any e-mails from him after our discussion which was around 3-4 months ago. As it seemed to me he had nothing to answer and didn't answer. After this I didn't get any single e-mail.

I'm curious about people blaming me in something.

I don't break any laws, this is the Hun who is breaking laws.

I'm really sorry that Hun's (!) attack affects GFY, but GFY is the biggest webmasters forum in my opinion and it's the best way for me to find people who pay attention to this problem.

This redirecting of Hun's attack is not about to crush GFY from my side, I hope you are able to understand this, it's just about to draw whole attention which is possible to this problem.

I was respecting Hun. Really respecting. He is the guy who created the biggest TGP on the web. But I lost whole respect to him now. This asshole (excuse me for such words) thinks that he is the God and he is allowed to do anything that he wants. He thinks that there are no laws wich work for him.

Okay, I'm in Russia, that's pretty tough for me to sue him fior this ILLEGAL ATTACK, and I'm not going to do that, but I hope you all understand that this sucks.

Let me explain my position.

If you run TGP - you expect to get some "cheating" galleries, where the traffic is redirected to other sites. That's YOUR JOB to remove such galleries from your listiing.

If you expect to have 100% clean TGP without problems - then you are probably a mad guy, who lost his head somethere on the heavens or any other pretty far place.

That's very simple. If you get gallery with redirect - you remove it from your listing, you ban domain (IP, DNS), etc.

Guys, I never had an idea to IMG SRC mr Hun because he removes my galleries from listing, althought I can do this, I have enough traffic to hurt him.

But this is fucking illegal and stupid and I will never do this.

Why this asshole (excuse me again) can do this?

He doesn't want to do his job. He just wants to post pics of his new cars on GFY, instead of doing his job. Is that MY problem?
Or YOURS? I think that's HIS problem. That's not hard. That's simple.

He just expected to do his job, remove my gals if he doesn't like them (because of bad content or redirect, that doesn't make sense), and that's ALL.

And I'm NOT redirecting whole traffic to rape sites. Less than 10% percents. Other traffic is going to mainstream sites. That's another fun thing about Mr Hun.

And another thing. Why I lost whole of my respect to Mr Hun. LONG time ago, when I posted my frist gallery with redirect to Mr Hun he answered with IMG SRC. This is WEIRD, FUCKING BAD, AND ILLEGAL BEHAVIOUR. I was shocked, and now I think he doesn't deserve any respect.

if you subit to someone's site you play by their rules, not yours. You seem to think the rules don't apply to you.

once again that depends on the quality of the traffic. If it's galleries then I have more traffic than thuhun.net on sleazydream.com -when I had a hypercount counter more than a year ago on my galleries I showed substaintially more traffic then thehun.net, and my current alexa rating is higher - but thehun.net is all on ONE PAGE - MUCH MUCH more profitable and you can do a lot more with it cause thehun isn't dependant on other people to post his galleries. I'd trade all my traffic in a SECOND without ANY hesitation for his.

1.There are two problems here - legal and ethical.

Years ago when TGPs appeared a lot of big guys, running paysites, ran around crying to shut down TGPs because OBVIOUSLY they hurt their sales a lot.

And they couldnt do a shit, because although unethical (and it was unethical because when one person makes his money out of loss of others in the same industry that is called unethical) it was basicly legal.
