multiple pps for one customer in same program?

I have a question that I started thinking about and was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

Lets say im sending traffic to more than one site within a single pps program.

I have links to site a, site b, and site c.

A surfer joins "site a" via my link. In a seperate transaction, that same surfer joins "site b" the next day also through my website.

In theory, since its pay per sale, I would be given credit for two sales correct?

Obviously that makes sense, but at the same time i know PPS pays for customers in hopes they will spend money elsewhere within the program if they can do an upsell or something.

so, is that how it is, or does is vary per program? or what?

Hit up the program to ask. In general PPS is all about milking the customer for every $$$ possible and paying you a single flat fee.

i agree. and i wouldnt expect a credit for a signup to site b from site a's member area or anything. but, if i refer a direct second sale, why wouldnt i get a credit since it is in fact, pay per sale.

any programs care to answer?
