Anybody tried to transfer a domain out of Register.com?

FFS does it really take like a week for them to accept the transfer? Fucking useless tools have the worst customer service I've encountered so far from a registrar.

    cock.

Seriously I wish I had saved the live chat convo, i actually asked the guy if he was a bot he was so fucking dumb.

Called them up and got hung up on after a 5-6 minute wait... I mean really and these guys charge 35 bucks a year for a domain. How are they in business?

I went through that too, they suck. GoDaddy wasn't so great either. I've got everything with Moniker now.

Register.com is among the worst to transfer out from - often requires a phone call.

GoDaddy has greatly improved - very easy to transfer-out from ... upon the user approving the transfer out, GoDaddy releases the domain right away. Most registrars still make people wait days.

One major caveat with GoDaddy is that having adult and controversal domains there can be risky. For mainstream stuff, their service / pricing is among the best.
