I enjoyed toying around with one, but didn't see the point in actually buying one as my phone can actually already do more as much if not more already, and it wasn't much smaller than my Macbook.

Its cool for going to a cafe, also on the road I scan ids. So it takes up less room and has about a 5 hr battery life. As my laptop now is a 4 yr old gateway with no battery. It was $1800 when I bought it now its worth maybe 200 bucks lol.

I really dug the Linux variant OS. Minimal, but for what it is...that's the way it should be. If I hadn't just picked up the new phone, I definitely would have bought one.

it was $649 then went to $549. New Egg was out of stock, when it came back it was $649.I thought what the fuck if I wait for every net book to come out I will never buy one. So I bought it for $649,then it went back to $549 I contacted New Egg and they are giving me a $100 refund. Good customer service.

They've always been good to me. Is this a bigger model? I don't recall the ones I checked out being that price. For some reason $299 is what I saw them for. Probably a less spec'd out model.

See, now I might be sold. This has actual Ubuntu on it and not that simple OS on the other models.

The atom cpu runs very cool also, the older eee's run very very warm my wife has one.
