Ran it through InterTran, and it looks like the site you are trying to access has been banned or something. So yea there could be a porn filter installed.

ok, tell him I've got this page in a hotel in Cannakale... I don't think tourists should have restricted access to whatever they want to browse... of course, proxies are always handy when you need them but still...
On the other hand, some other pages aren't restricted at all. Are they picked based on the keywords/content/jpg/movies found on that specific site or it's just random?

Turkey has a huge muslim population and extremely strict porn laws.

The site is banned by the order of a turkish government agency (the URL of the site popping up when looking for "Telekomünikasyon İletişim Başkanlığı" is a .gov.tr)

sounds like if i go back to turkey no more gfy. the telecommunication ministry banned the site.

Either buy a private VPN, or install OpenVPN on your own server and surf through tunnel.

I know i gotta do it very soon ..

For some reason gfy is still working... maybe they didn't had time to upgrade the ban list yet... we'll see in the next few days though.

Guess what... I hope I'm not becoming paranoic or something but I think I was watched... while I was in my hotel, this guy got in the lobby, walked around, was looking to the internet area , saw me and called someone on his cell phone. After that he was freakin' starring at me once in a while and after 20 minutes or so he left in a white unmarked van... am I seeing things or he was only a laundry van driver or whatever?

nope, turks on the internet are good at two things, stealing and.... the other one im not sure of. oh thats right, hacking and cracking.
