You remind me of a situation with my uncle. When he was living in Sydney, he was attacked by 4 men after picking up his pay from work, and stabbed 12 times. A woman driving past saw him, stopped and saw to him (she was a nurse), called an ambulance, and did what she could to help him in the mean time.
