Its hard to do full on sparing with full hitting during training. You really dont know what a hard hit to the head feels like till you hit that ring.


Sure in training you may take a hit or two but nothing like what get in the ring. However you tend not to feel it in the ring when it happens beacuse of all the fight/flight juices flowing. But if you absorb enough your body just shuts down.

He took in a lot of hits.

He's back in the cage for a big fight this September. He's working more on his standing skills and footwork. Also working hard on his cardio/ endurance.

He was a wrestler in school, had a lot of jujitsu submission tourney background and training. His striking skills were lacking.

He'll be ready his next match.

He gets his ass (head) pounded in during the second round. I mean severe. They almost stopped the fight. The fans were on their feet cheering for blood becasue my cuz was getting his asskicked so bad, and what does he do after the 2nd round?

He turns to the guy, smiles at him, and tells him to bring it.

IT was classic!

Only problem was 45 seconds after this the guy brought it.

Its these kind of matches (ground submission only no hitting) kind of matches we've all been doing for the last several years.

Ground Grappling is a great art form and weapon in the ring. And Steve is VERY good at it.

Just becasue its Grappling though without striking doesnt mean it doesnt hurt though.

His brother the one who never lost an MMA match and was one of the baddest mother fuckers in the ring ive seen was excellent at striking. His little bro tried to live up to that but really shouldnt have. He should have retreated until it went to the ground.

With that said he didnt do very well on the ground that night either.
It just wasnt his night. He took some hard shots. Real hard to the head. For a while there he said the room was spinning and he couldnt stop it.

IT was a really great evening. Thanks for the tickets and the Invite. The girls that night were much hotter than the pictures show. I was in awe.

There was on girl in particualr Boneprone was with. He's been with her before. I wonder why he doesnt post her pic. She's pretty fucking hot. Post some pics man.
