Ken Griffey Jr. Traded to White Sox

Do you think Junior can help the Sox make the playoff run or are is he simply just average player right now?

If healthy and motivated he can still swing that bat! Not a bad pickup from my view.

I think maybe he's been needing a change of scenery...

you still have to wonder about all those "what's if's" with him....as good as his numbers are, his injuries have taken hug chunks out of his career...

His swing as really slowed down, but still has a very nice smooth swing. Slower in the outfield as well as he is really aging.

Just what the Sox need... a pure (formerly power) hitter who is suspect defensively (lately) and can't run.

Forget all that... Hopefully, he'll get you south siders over the hump. I'd love to see you in Oct.

Damn that guy has been around for a long time. I remember being a kid of only 13 (Im28 now) and watching hit home run after home run when in his prime. Great player, he was.

He still has a little left in him, it really doesn't matter what the White Sox do this year, this is the year of the Cubs.

I sold my soul, sacrificed three virgins and bathed in blood of a goat, Cubs better win this year.

I don't know if he'll be able to help the Sox much this year, but I sure have gained alot of respect for Griffey Jr the last few years.

Watching all of this steroid stuff unfold, seeing that he wasn't involved in any of that in the slightest, and seeing what he is able to do on natural ability alone is really something.

Imagine if he'd never have gotten hurt all those years in Cinci? Scary numbers he'd have.

yeah imagine how great he would have been minus the injuries. I meant he was as good as they get at one point.
