Depends how much you send here are my stats for October. If you send around 6000 a day it is around 1 in 50 for me. It all depends on many factors. Some individual ezines convert at like 1 in 19. This is just all sites combined.

I shit you not, FEB's ratios are great, I was clocking 1:15 with click through traffic. After learning their tricks though I have my own email collection system [nope, there's no affiliate program, its completely my own] and it clocks 1:4 The key is to have the user come to you instead of popping up all sorts of bullshit windows or blind linking them in.
Also, using the right graphics and layout helps a LOT. Since I want my ratios to stay the same I can only encourage you to keep experimenting with layouts until you hit your target conversion rate.

I'm talking very small traffic numbers here, but my numbers were great for a while ... they went to hell in a handbasket about six weeks ago and only lately seem to have been picking up.
FEB really rocks. I convert 1:6-1:10(rarely) and a large % of my traffic is exit. My worst ratio the last 3 months was 1:16
I think it was when they had some server problems. Large % of the sales come from a specific ezine that converts steadily 1:2 but it's a secret :-)
I just signed up with them yesterday and I'm sending all TGP currently.

The traffic is from several sites. A few are tgps and others are kind of inbetween cj2 / tgp. Quite a bit of the traffic going to FEB is from search engines. The remaining traffic comes from trades ...
I think the search engines create most of the sales
I think the ratios for this sponsor should be like 1:5 because everyone has an e-mail address and there is no reason they shouldn't use it to get 100% free adult material.
It is a no brainer, but maybe our surfers have no brains. Then we have a problem...
I don't promote FEB but im at about 1:7 with another per email sponsor. They are doing pretty well, though they batch process deductions so it's a little heartbreaking recently.

I just started with FEB on Wednesday of this week and I'm like 1:75 right now. I've just sent them about 350 clicks so far.
I really really don't understand what the hell people are doing where they are only signing up 1 in 75 people. It is FREE and what don't people understand about the word FREE.
You put in your e-mail address and you get access to FREE adult material. Do they need a kick in the nuts first before they realize what to do next?
One of the main reasons FEB has such a hard time with consitant conversions as opposed to say WEGcash sites, is becuase the ezines are represented by a single page where as other 4free sponsors will have a small tour.
Therefore, you have to presell your traffic much better to obtion good ratios with FEB. Using a descripted full page ad to send the traffic usually does the trick.
The ratios have gone down because there are tons of popups after you close an FEB registration page. There's even a pop-under when you get to the registration page.
If these didn't exist, our ratios would improve about %40.

Those are some horrible ratios. I do 1:21 steady with the same amount of traffic... but mine is SE not TGP... so I guess that's the factor...

Since I started with FEB this wednesday, I have just 7 sales and sent about 450 hits, 1:64 isn't too good when it doesn't cost people anything to signup.
I don't send a lot of traffic to FEB at all but I just checked and my ratio is 1:10.
What I do like is the stats info they provide. Find a good a good ezine that converts and send your shit traffic there, $1 is better than nothing. I wouldn't send good traffic there though, not enough bang for my buck.
I have always sent a significant amount of traffic to FEB. Over the last few months, there has been no noticable change in ratios. That said, I do change my advertising message quite often..it's amazing what changing a single word or 2 can do to either improve or decrease sign-ups.
I've had more experience with the 4free model than just about anyone and let me tell you that without popups 4free programs would not be able to exist without playing some very obvious games or lowering payouts significantly. Popups are a double edged sword. You hate them because they reduce your income and conversions, but they are the reason that most sponsors are able to pay what they do and not shave like a mofo.

I don't believe that this is owned and operated by FEB. As one of their top webmasters, consistently in the top 7 or better, I am always offered first dibs on beta testing any new products. Haven't heard a peep about freeticketcash.

Not really, when a surfer sees a porn on a non adult site they get horny, and unlike other pages with pics, links to sponsors, etc.. it is the only 'source of porn' that is in their face the moment.

Rule of thumb: Anytime a new 4free type program comes out the conversions are going to be really good and then slowly drop. Pretty much all 4free programs will not give you credit for an e-mail that is already in their database. The regular porn surfers out there that look for 4free sites to join sign up to many 4free sites. Once they are in the database if they sign up for another site from that program you usually will not get credit for it because it is not a unique join. Once a large chunk of the regular 4free type site surfers join up with a new program you start to see more and more repeat people joining up with different sites on the same program. If you are using links that do not state what the site name is you will see an even quicker drop in conversions. If Joe Blow that likes to sign up for 4free sites and looks for them clicks a link on your page that says "Free Teen Site Membership" and then gets to the site and realizes it is one that he has already joined your ratio gets worse. The longer a site is out there the more this will happen and the worse ratios with a program will get. Different programs count clicks and signups different ways but this is generally true for most of the older 4free sites.
49thParallel, my conversions are a lot better today so far I'm 1:20. Did you want to discuss what our text messages are saying to compare and contrast. Maybe one of us has something that would help the other one out
