anyone ever have water in their back footwells?

seems everytime there is a big rain...we have water in the backseat footwells

not sure how its getting in..as it is nto leaking anywhere...except through the door near the bottom....all the rubber seals seam to be in good shape.

anyone ever have the mystery water?

it could of course be the window being slightly cracked...but im pretty sure i ruled that out this time

Yep I had it in one of my cars which was only 2 years old. It was coming from the bung seals under the seats. I was told by the manufactures that when they make the shells they use robots to pick up the shell or something and the holes for this are situated under the seats and the boot and at the front where the engine sits. When they have finished the spraying and what ever else they do They plug these holes with rubber bungs which sometimes shrink and leak..that was my prob anyway

that sounds like it might be the issue..as the water just appears out of nowhere really
and sometimes it is caught under the door..so wheni open it..a bit of water comes out...like it was caught between the door and the car somewhere

quaqmire...this is a 2003 530i which if this water keeps happening..i might sell..lol
