The ATKCash team was just there for a week actually, it's absolutely amazing. There's nothing quite like it.... there's no garbage, no graffiti... and there's just so much to see and do.

I just got home last night but I already would like to be able to go back.

You'll love it. Be sure to get the Chile Crab if you go

You'll love it. I was there 20 odd years ago but it was very clean and beautiful.

The merchants were friendly but the people on the streets refused to speak to us cause they hate Americans.

Yeah, they call it a "fine city" because you can get a fine for just about everything

I've been there about 5 times now. It really is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I purposely fly on Singapore Airlines every time I visit asia/australia just so I can lay over in singapore. Not to mention their airline is hands down the best in the world.

The city is fairly small, but it is designed so perfectly. You are also only a few hours out of Kuala Lumpur if you are wanting a side trip.

only place it did not smell was outside....but its like 100 degrees....and 100% humidity...and when you go to resturants its stinks cause everyone in the AC and there sweat just stinks up the place...50% of there population is from india...

you have to make a decision every day do you want to smell shit or sweat...

every hotel has the guy from octopussy with the white tubine and when he opens the door of the cab he gives you looks like its the last time you will breath...

It's like a big shopping mall, with a nice zoo and polite people. That's all there is. Anyone who tells you different lives there.

Oh yeah, the chilli crab is memorable, I'll give them that. Find someone local to show you the decent restaurants / stalls to hit.

I live in Hong Kong and the only time we ever go to Singapore anymore is for a weekend shopping trip, once youve seen the local sights a couple of times thats about it....have a lot of friends who did move there from Hk and pretty much nearly everyone moved back within 2 years citing that its a great city but can be a fairly boring city if youre used to places like HK

Been there a dozen or so times over the past 20 years. It is very clean in fact too clean if thats possible. They use to have food carts that went around selling Sate and other local dishes but they killed that off about 15 years ago, pity because the food was amazing. Its very hot and humid so most of the shops are connected by air conditioned walk ways.

Watch for the killer litter commercials on TV funniest shit ive ever seen, people thowing beds and TV out of 40 floor buildings and hitting people below

I went for the great food on the way to Malaysia ( Penang )

Me bad, being too negative.

In answer to the question, it's great for a short vacation. If you play golf, head over to Bintan Island for a few days.

Was there two weeks ago for the 5th time. Always seem to have a stopover there. Cant stand the place. Boring as batshit, an asian city trying to be a western city.

We went on to Hoi an in Veitnam for 12 nights, an ancient world heritage listed town. Now Hoi an is a true asian city
