True story:

My oldest sister has always prided herself on her looks. She was always the pretty one in the family, but it always took a lot of effort to get that way. And even though she is a very kind, giving and loving person, she seems to feel that her looks are all that she has to offer. And yes, she is very pretty, but even I have to admit that she looks much better with her make-up on.

When she got married, she got up every morning a couple of hours before her husband for OVER TWO YEARS so that she would be all perfect looking for him before he woke up. No joke... she would not even let her own husband see her without her face painted on and her hair done for over two years! I SO wish I could have been there to see his reaction on the day when he finally got to see her in her natural state. The difference is truly night and day.

Still to this day, after 18 years of marriage, she's so high maintenance that she won't even run to the corner store for milk or drop her kids off at school unless she's perfectly done up first. Her boys are always late to school because of her. She's also the type of person who will never go swimming or ride on the back of a motorcycle or in a convertible because it would mess up her hair or face.

I love my sister, but in all honestly... I absolutely can't stand chicks like that!

Anyway its unimportant I was just messing with you because you showed your insecurities. Tell me I'm wrong or not, perhaps you're an exception, but what I stated is the rule no doubt - more so for younger people though, the rules and life tends to mellow as you age. No disrespect to you, you seem to be a hard working guy, from the few posts I've noticed so if you've got a good girl than congrats. My point was only that this society of ours has such shallow values and sense of worth, and that the majority of people who exist around us are sheep who've simply moved from one prejudice to another, all the while claiming they are enlightened.

But yeah when I was younger, I just wanted the hot ones and it didnt matter if they had any substance or not. It was actually better if they didnt. That has changed a whole lot recently. I also used to need a flashy car, bike, airplane... thats all changed as well. Well I still like my bikes but dont really care about flashy cars or other toys now. Would rather take a nice vacation instead.

many gr8 threads here with some sorta truth in them, but i totally agree with this. a girl doesn't have to look SO DAMN HOT for me to love her. and in reality, how many of you guys have a SO DAMN HOT gf?

i would hate it when i have to wait 1-2 hours for my chick to get ready. i'd rather she put some simple makeup (or none at all) and is able to get ready within 15-25mins unless there's a major function which requires her to do so.
