    been trying to get my Advanced ultralight license for a few years. Due to "fly by night" pun intended ;) flying schools it never happened. Hooked up with a new outfit about 2 hrs drive from me to get things back in motion. Had a great time check out the pics

                                                                  Closest I ever came to being in an ultra-light was this time in N. Carolina. A guy had this flying dinghy and I went up in that. That was one of the scariest things I've ever done.




                                                                  How many hours do you have logged flying? Do you have to have an actual pilot's licensee to fly this thing?

                                                                                              Michael, this is a much easier license to get, a lot of the hassles are eliminated by the classification of the aircraft

                                                                                                                                              well I have had a very wild weekend with my mate celebrating his birthday.

                                                                                                                                              We've emptied a keg of beer, ate like 20 pounds of beef, listened to a LOT of classic rock I've showcased some of my all original rock n roll Elvis impersonations and dancing skills and eventually ended up wearing only a kitchen pinny the party day no.2, we went half naked to buy some beer to the gas station but didn't got in as far as there was a dude behind the counter.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Rand, I just started the lessons. Yes you do have to have a license if you want to own or carry a passenger. The restrictions or qualifications are far less than for a larger aircraft. Some people have completed the course in as little as 20 flying hours. I am aiming for that, since I have flown years ago, but never got my license. The planes are affordable, they run about the price of a luxury car
