                Great news today.

                Got a phone call from the hospital this morning to say that Eva was awake and wanted to hear my voice. I said a few words asked if I should come to see her and the nurse said she nodded and smiled.

                After seeing the court magistrate I went to see her. she was off the assisted breathing tube and just had a face mask for oxygen. She talked with difficulty but was taking in what I was saying and responding. She was also very positive she did not want to see our daughter thinking it would upset our daughter. She did not even want to listen to her talk on the phone. Eva tired after 30 minutes and the nurse told me to come back later.

                Went to see her tonight and the change is wonderful. She was bright, alert and talking. She wants to see our daughter and family and spoke on the phone to them. Was able to spend 2 hours with her. I had to leave as I was beaten and yawning. Eva sent me away. She's arguing with me, telling me what to do and above all making me and nurses laugh. Those who have met her will know her sense of humour.

                The visit to the court was the down point and I'm thinking about creating anew bank account and sending all the money there and letting creditors wait. It's a nightmare dealing with the bureaucrats here.

                Not going to let them blacken a great day.

                                                                                Eva is better and yesterday taken out of the emergency ward and into ICU. She's on the mend and hopefully will not be in there too long as visitors are not allowed. It's to protect people from infection after operations. I did see her yesterday for a little while and she's in as good spirits as can be expected. We can now laugh and joke about it, Eva does not remember the accident.

                                                                                I'm off to the court this afternoon to sort out the nightmare with the law and my position to manage bank accounts. Hopefully that will be resolved today.

                                                                                Just awake and need to get out so will post more later. This last 12 days has taken it's toll on me as well.

                                                                                But again to everyone thank you for your support.

                                                                                                                            I spoke to Eva yesterday about me posting her pictures and she was a bit shocked at first but then was OK about it. I said I was going to record her progress and she said fine. These are so much better than the previous ones and they have cleaned her teeth since I took them. But at least she is smiling.

Will see Eva today and will see if she was serious about coming home soon. She said they will fit her with a corset and it will allow her to come home. I don't want to believe it until I talk to her doctor.

                                                                                                                                                                                        For those following my business woes. We went to the hospital with a lawyer and all the documents for Power of Attorney this Thursday. Eva is awake and understands what they mean so will sign them. The problem was she could not move her right arm enough and the signature was not legible. So I'm still living off the money I take out of the ATMs.

                                                                                                                                                                                        Paying some bills though.

                                                                                                                                                                                        If Eva comes home we will hopefully get her to a Notary.
