does McDonald's charge 50 cents for a BigMac they charge $2.50 for in a big city?

I paid six dollars the other day when I went to it...

I would say that all those small towns make considerably less salaries, the average family probably lives better and does not have the paycheck to paycheck mentality. When I was living in San Diego it seemed like everybody was trying to top each other... my friends, that all worked retail jobs... had brand-new cars, mass credit card debt, and huge student loans. They were already broke and still bought brand-new cars. Made no sense to me...

i am a big backer of small city/town life - but i checked out Jaysin's town and it is as small as it gets, 4,000 people. there are more people in the virtual town of GFY than in Cresco, IA

Why do you guys keep discussing the quality?

The big concern should be that a "member" of the community is STEALING from huge companies and are going get OWNED in a big way. Not owned in a "ooh, I said something witty to you on the intrawebs and you don't have a comeback kind of way." The company, and all individuals and entities related to it will be paying for it the rest of their lives.

You guys think your affiliate checks will still come once the lawsuits start pouring in?

Cresco is actually one of the bigger areas i've lived in (besides the big cities i lived in like Bakersfield, CA), the town i grew up mostly in, The population was 893 at the 2000 census.

The city I am in has 60,000 people... we have options, the problem is most everywhere is a chain restaurant. I don't want a chain. I want a place with great food, a great atmosphere, etc.

And the lack of sushi is killing me. My brother is trying to convince me to fly in, LOL. Tempting, but I don't want day old sushi.

I love how nobody believes just because they live in a big area and think just because their most crappy run down place charges $50 for a movie ticket, that everywhere does..

That's one nice theatre........I would buy it! :)
