Jail House, Pretty Boy Floyd, Sweet FA, you da man !!! I thought I was the only one on this board that knew who they were

It's always nice to bump into an old school 80s hard rock/metal fan.

Wow from all of the above no one said Offspring yet ?

based on your existing bands in your list I think they'd fit in nicely.

Your still missing a lot, but is this to expand your music collection or to ad to your "music" list on some social networking site. LOL I myself took down all my band, artist, producer names that I had listed on one such site, because ding dong's who know nothing about music and were just posing started copying the list. LOL

Also, it depends on the type of music you listen to. There are a lot of genres so there are a lot of artist/bands/producer per genre.

Great question

I like music a LOT and have been listening to the same shit for many years, as you can see, I like 90s stuff a lot and have listened to it over and over. I have, but rarely listen to classical music and some jazz, soits generally the stuff above. Gets tiresome after so long.

Was at the hard rock at xbiz and they had this great mix playing the whole time. I heard songs from tom petty and the blackcrowes and thought to myself ?man, I have to expand my music collection, no reason I shouldn?t have Everything that?s good? so I thought I would ask gfy.

if I get 3 cool bands from it, then its worth it and I did. Problem is im reluctant to go download shit from somebody I hah not heard of, but im trying to overcome that ;)

You have a good music taste

the stone roses (both albums, first one is a classic though)
the smiths (the queen is dead and louder than bombs)
the cribs (all 3 albums)
kings of leon (all albums)
enter shikari (take to the skies)

Hip hop:

eric b & rakim - paid in full
dizzee rascal - boy in the corner
lethal bizzle - against all oddz

edit: just noticed you already had the smiths listed, good lad! Deffo get the stone roses though!

The Stone Roses is the debut album by English indie rock band The Stone Roses, released on March 13, 1989 (1989-03-13). The album is consistently rated highly in "best ever" album lists, often tops charts of the best British albums. It established the band as the most important band in their genre for the time.

Just incase you have any doubts. ;)

My music taste is very extensive. I like almost everything and I mean everything. I listen to a lot but lately been going with a lot of electronica / electro rock / electro pop. I had an issue with downloading stuff too, but Itunes is great to sample a bunch of music and just buy what you like. Also, if you like a certain band and look it up on Itunes it usually suggest similar sounding music.

Been listening to the following Bands/Artist a lot lately check em out:
Cut Copy
MGMT
Blind Pilot
From Monument To Masses
The Frames
The Notwist
Sam Sparro
Mellodrone
M83
Santogold
Midnight Juggernauts

If you like em...let me know. I have to go through my music and that is a challenge. I think I have close to 8000 CD's now. I stopped really counting at 5000+
