Photographers - Best filters for shooting outdoors?
I've been shooting a lot of outdoor stuff on the beach as of late and my sky is just not getting the blue it needs to be. I know there are filters for this, but don't know which is better than the other.
Any tips? Thanks! |

Try a polarizing filter. It makes the blue sky bluer, and pops the colors generally when shooting outdoors in bright light. It's a bit tricky to use at first: it has a rotating ring that you turn to vary the polarizing effect, so it may take a little time to get up to speed with it.

circular polarizing filter is a MUST for outdoor shooting
remember to keep it adjusted as you and or the model and or the sun change position it also, when used right will help saturate your colors nicely
