    People in this industry can be real douchebags...

    We had a great time throwing a massive party at the Hard Rock during the Xbiz show, but of course, some fuckstain had to ruin a great evening.

    While we were going through and tallying the final bill for the party, we found out that someone had stolen the fucking Playstation 3 from the suite. One of the bedrooms had a Playstation 3 in it and someone decided all of the booze, food, girls, fun, just wasn't enough, so they helped themselves to a PS3. This thing was chained in the room, so it actually took some effort for some stupid fucknut to swipe it.

    There always has to be a couple fuckfaces the ruin the fun for everyone else.
    It was bad enough that two separate people thought it was cool to bring a fucking gun into an industry party, and then this...totally takes the cake.

    To the douchebag that took it and the two douchebags with guns, I hope you get cancer of the ass.

      Well that is shitty. Was everyones badges checked at the door ect? A lot of times people will bring along "friends" that have nothing to do with the industry. Sucks that someone did that.

                                              Unbelieveable. You guys threw a fantastic party and Claudia-Marie and I had a great time. You guys were very gracious and spared no expense.
                                              I'm starting to think that these parties might need to turn into invite only. Just webmasters that you know and trust and do business with AND as many naked women as we can get.
                                              By the way, it was nice talking to you at your cabana as well. I've never spoken to you before though I've known Timbo for about 10 years.

                                                                                                      Our rule to security for allowing someone in was they must have a show badge or wristban, with the exception being one of us OKing them to get in.

                                                                                                      The PS3 notwithstanding, security did an amazing job with the gun situations. They handled everything with class and made sure nothing got out of hand.

                                                                                                      The first gangsta was caught trying to sneak out of the hotel wrapped in a bedsheet and was arrested. I can't comment further because I don't have any other accurate information...not a real rock scientist, the other was escorted out and checked out of his hotel room and 86d from the hotel.

                                                                                                                                          Yeah, they had to have had it under a big coat or something....it's definitely puzzling how it could happen...but it could have even happened when the second gun drama was going on...while it wasn't a mass chaos scene, security's focus was on controlling the situation...and they did an admirable job of that.

                                                                                                                                                  One of the true compliments of the night was the bar staff talking amongst themselves and one of them saying "this is the best party I've seen in here and I want to work this event again next year". When the staff is noticing the good time, that is a huge compliment. These guys see parties in there all the time. I think it helps that people in this industry are also very generous tippers.

                                                                                                                                                  Golf was amazing. I barely survived it but had a blast. Those green were fucking brutal though. I lost count of how many 4 or 5 putts I had ;-)

                                                                                                                                                                      Exactly, badge + wristband checking does nothing when you have a registration desk on the casino floor basically and no fee to register, or any kind of background check. The guy who sucker punched Quinn and was thrown out (one of the guys claiming he had a gun) had both a badge and a wristband, and was very obviously not in the industry.

Shit does happen, believe me, I know. But the important thing is, no one got shot and webmasters had a blast.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  When I throw a party, I know something bad is going to happen, I just hope no one gets hurt and I don't get screwed over by a sponsor.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  One day, I might do a party for Players Card holders only since I know those people were issued cards from me or my sponsors. It's tough to open up your doors to anyone at the lobby of a hotel that walks by to check out the porn.
