Cherry coke rules, I've been drinking too much coke lately. I'm not a caffeine person by any stretch but in the last few weeks I've been craving it. Must be baby wanting extra sugar or somesuch.

I used to do about 1 pot of coffee and around 6-12 cans of mountain dew everyday. If I didn't have caffeine by noon, my head would begin to explode.

I haven't had any caffeine for 4 years (other than chocolate and other misc foods). Feel better, but now I just have to stop eating at restaurants 2 times/day.

There's no caffeine in the Canadian version of Mountain Dew - one of those quirky things that was pointed out to me during the days when I was back and forth to the US all the time. Some people who were used to drinking Mountain Dew all the time found that they suddenly couldn't sleep anymore!

Vanilla Coke is close to cream soda, hard to say what makes it taste a little different, guess it is the caffeine and all Coke products have some citrus in them.

Cream soda can't lay claim to anything. The original cream soda is a New York City beverage called an 'egg cream', think it goes way back to the turn of the century. You can still get an 'egg cream' in NYC deli's, some of them anyway.

I'm a Coke addict. No way can i make it through a day without it.

Too many good drinks nowadays to choose from, i swear when i go to convenience store i stand there for 15 minutes deciding which flavor of ice tea i wanna try. Snapple still rocks.
I'd buy it by the case but i'd drink 10 a day.

And you are never too old for KoolAid. The best part of KoolAid is you can make it to any strength you want, i hardly use any sugar and it's awesome.

A couple of months ago on the news there was a new study about soft drinks, it's the carbonation, the bubbles, that this study says makes soft drinks fattening as much as the sugar, the conclusion was that diet soft drinks do not help at all in losing weight. It was weird science too, it was the shape of carbonated bubbles or something like that that the scientists said worked against weight loss.

yeah that's what i thought when i heard the story. i didn't dream it. But when i went to Google to try to find the story online i couldn't find it. It was about the shape of the bubbles - the study was saying that any carbonated beverage works against you losing weight, so drinking Club Soda or diet Coke is bad. Diet iced tea would be better.

i just went and searched again with no luck.
