No, I'm done with photographers who can't work with video. It is not worth it at all. I have a select few I trust for high quality content and making use of the tripod is essential. But I will also have to figure it out because I'll can use it for webcam also! Not that webcam is HD but it has a nice built in light and the internal microphone is better.

I'll have some FHGs with HD video clips in the next few days. The were put together by zuzana designs and look fab!

It is the canon Vixia HV30, not the most expensive one out there but I can't go carrying around one of those gigantic ones with a tripod along with the multiple wardrobe changes I always seem to bring unnecessarily. So it is going to work well for me

Good luck. Had that camera for awhile and the file sizes of 1080 HD are HUGE. 760mb for ONE minute. By the time you have compressed it into a size your customers wont have to spend days downloading, its worthless. Still looks good but looks just like a video shot in standard def. Not to mention most of my customers said they had no way to play back Blu Ray DVDs. Just not worth it to go HD yet, maybe next year I will go back.

so anyone that buys one should go to college to use it? Or pay someone to film? Had ours for over a year and I am still learning. One of these days when I figure out how to turn the fucker on I will make a clip so you can see how I am doing with it
