As someone who has dealt with Donny on many levels, I can tell you:
1) He takes his professional criticism to heart - makes changes and improves on his work
2) He respects his delays and is very hands-on/reachable with his clients
3) His work gets better and better - he has good work ethics
4) He keeps his word
5) Although it seems like he's sometimes talking out of his ass, if he says he can do it, until now, for myself, I can say that he's come through on everything
6) Sometimes, I wish they would chain his hands behind him when he gets close to a keyboard
7) He loves his fucking watermark
8) He sometimes doesn't know when to turn his tongue and bite his lip and step away from the keyboard

He had a run-in with some other producer and that producer pre-emptively came here talking shit about him, got the ball rolling for the bandwagon to continue to diss his work, his watermark and anything else that came out of his keyboard. Now once the truth was out, people can't lose face, so they continued to insult him - partially by his own fault because for awhile, anyone that tried to talk with him, he was very defensive and would lash out even when it wasn't warranted.

All in all - if you are going based on his work ethics - he's a good person to work with. If you want to base yourself on board warriors and board personas - then avoid him like the plague. It's really up to you and it depends on what dealings you will have with him.

That's my personal and professional experience with him and I'm not guaranteeing you'll love him - but I look at people who walk the walk and not only talk the talk.

At first I'll admit I was nervous about it - but I've been in contact with him for close to a year now and I can tell you that since we did work closely - he took all my complaints - he can confirm I was a bitch with him and he went back and fixed, tweaked, painted, moved furniture, took pics sent back for approval and did all that to satisfy his customer. I've told him how I wanted the models hair and makeup on some specific models where I knew it would make a difference and he's always done what we asked. I've been in the biz for about 10 years now - and I know you've been around long enough to know that not many people, have this work ethic anymore.

The thing I like most about him? He's genuine. He loves what he does and if you tell him what you think is 'wrong' with his content or a particular scene, in a constructive way - I assure you, he changes/improves on it.

Ive watched this for awhile, and have no dog in the fight. Donny should not respond to people on boards, and let the work speak for itself. He shoots some skanks sure, but hey there is a market for that. They are not all bad girls at all though. What is irritating on gfy is this. Sometimes even if the girl was above average or hot, the trolls on here would come in and rip on the talent in the scene just cause Donny shot it. I mean its silly. Anyway, I wasn't even going to post in this thread, since I don't post much about people who are banned, while they are banned.

However, now I see that Donny posted in this thread using his 3rd or 4th fake nick (the previous nicks he used to spam with were banned).

I guess Donny thinks the way to get unbanned is to keep breaking the rules about posting with a fake nick. Typical Donny logic...

I've never done business with Donny, and most likely never will, not because of his skills or work ethic, but because of his background and some of his less than admirable actions and negative character traits.

The facts are:

Donny does have a criminal background. He has been arrested several times, and also had to serve jail time and probation. Among the things he was arrested for were assault and theft (including assaulting a woman).

When an adult industry business deal went bad with a partner, he put letters in his former partner's neighbor's mailboxes, informing them that porn was being shot at the former partner's house, and suggesting that they be afraid for their children and try to have him shut down by calling the police.

He also, more than once, called the Police to have them investigate porn shootings, in an effort to get his former partner into legal trouble. For these dirty trick reasons alone, I could never trust or hire him if this is what he does to onetime friends and employers/partners in the adult biz.

He has gotten into both verbal and physical altercations with industry people at industry events and at parties.

He makes up vicious lies and spreads rumors about people. I know of no other person in the industry that has so frequently publicly written the kinds of insulting remarks and lies that he has (I find his demeaning misogynist attitude towards women especially disturbing).

Even though he works and pals around with at least one male talent whom has done gay porn in the past, he did everything in his power to smear ChristianXXX and cost him work.

He seems unable to control his temper, and his preferred method for resolving conflict is to fly into a rage, which is pretty immature for a 28 year old man.

He's been banned from GFY at least three times that I can recall (and that's not including the fake nicks of his that have been banned). He has also been banned from at least one other board as well.

I'm sure I missed some things, but that is essentially why I will not hire the guy.

I would not want to think that someone I hired would ever engage in the type of behavior that appears to be a pattern of behavior for Donny. I really don't care how good/cheap his work is.

Some people are willing to overlook all that. I hope for their sake that it doesn't come back to bite them.

With all this said, I don't really have any deep rooted anger towards Donny.

Actually, I feel somewhat sorry for the guy, because he can't comprehend that almost all of his problems, he created himself.

Hopefully one day he'll come to the realization that whatever success he has achieved is not due to his negative attitude and behavior, and if he could somehow manage to get better control over his emotions, and act more responsibly, that even better things might come his way.

I've had pissing matches with the guy on this board and have also resolved the differences. I can't recommend him or not recommend him because we have never done business, however as a fairly-well connected old fart in this industry, I do know that Donny has a very good work ethic and gets the job done. Yes, he has an anger management problem, no fucking argument there, but the fact of the matter is that if I needed a job done in his area I wouldn't hesitate to hire him. He may be an asshole but he's an fairly accomplished asshole in this industry. I think in the short time he's been in this industry, he has more experience than most that post here. But holy fuck that attitude is a hard pill to swallow so don't label me as a DL ass-kisser.

PS - and Donny, don't you dare quote and reply to this or I'll mother-fuck you until hell freezes over. My suggestion is you do your work and stay off the boards for the next 10 years or so.
