Please tell me how in the holy graces of hell (unless the TGP owner has purchased the content) the TGP "owns" the gallery listing. It is mighty wide of you all to say that you own the links.. wait or do they belong to the guy that actually bought the content. Well my question is that if you are using Matrix Content in a gallery and did not buy the content and the TGP owner wants to "own" the link then who am i suing? Who then is responsible for the bill is all i want to know.

As for GOTYS we are working with him very closely on pichunter to make it a really great TGP.
He does not need to justify himself he has one of the top 10 TGP's and has worked really hard to get it there.

I can see how people can own the TITLES for the galleries, as they review them and type their own titles, which may be quiet time consuming. That's about all they can own or claim to own.... Internet is not someone's house, interet is public-domain and always will be.

It's not like it isn't obvious - but if nobody gives a shit, then I guess it is fair game on links - as long as the descriptions are changed?

Number Two, while it might not be illegal to steal gallery listings, it is unethical - people put a lot of time and effort, some hire people to do their submission reviews - taking somebody else's hard work makes you two look like dicks.

Until you realize 4 major TGPs with Mega traffic have stolen your gallery link from lets say Persian Kitty and your gallery gets hit with a bunch of bullshit traffic from Dishonest webmasters gathering links.

When I make galleries they are designed TGP specific and Ill be damned if I want just any tgp dumping a fuckload of their worthless freeloading traffic, how can you all miss this?

I totally agree. I don't want traffic from some of these thieving assholes sites. I could care less if they send a ton of traffic, I don't want their garbage. Volumes of high traffic is not always a good thing. I don't want a shitload of traffic from sites that get their traffic from cj's and only traded tgp crap. I choose where I get my traffic from and do not appriciate people stealing my listings from other peoples sites.

Actually, I'm not even sure that there would be an argument if he was. I know for a fact he's not, because I've never gotten his traffic in my logs from other sites, but beyond that, the compilation of links are only protected how they are compiled. So if he re-categorizes them, or even re-orders them, it's a transformative process, so I don't think you could complain.

Either way, serge, is he stealing from your site? What's with the big expose, just feel the need to play drama boy, or was their a point. BTW, did you even bother checking on the LAW on the subject?
