"Truthfully I dont know if I can make this 220 mile ride. If this unknown scares me or thrills me. Maybe both. Ive done 9 STP's (two day 200mile), the last two were pretty easy for me. But never have I tried doing it in one day.
I feel like a rookie all over again, even have levels of self doubt I havent felt about myself in years.
It does excite me. But im also scared of failure. Hate to say it but I have an ego that needs to be fufilled here. My whole life has been filled of people, friends and family saying I cant do things and Ive always proven them wrong. Maybe thats why I do things like STP's.
But this time Im starting to feel maybe they are right. Maybe I cant do this. From my own wife to most friends and family.
I may have to try my best or die trying. Casue Im not about to have them say "told you so"
