Smart Phones .. are they any good? - GoFuckYourself.com

I've had my Chocolate LG since the Webmaster access show in Toronto last year .. And G-d I HATE THIS PHONE!!

I've returned it 5 times since January 08 ... Finally got fed up with my provider basicly telling me that my only option was to go spend another 400$ on a phone .. Fuck em' .. with a little more bitchin I got what I wanted ...

I got the Samsung Jack phone. So far I've been having fun playing with it . and learn all the functions ... I'm a cell phone nerd. I've had one since the 80's but never really stayed up with the technology other then making a call.

Does anyone else have a smart phone? and what can I do to really make this phone a whole new Wireless experience .. I want to get the most out of owning this phone and this new technology

I can't even imagine life again without my Blackberry Pearl, and that's a pretty low end smartphone.

Handles everything i need... quick email and ims, calls, handles some music and small pix... web when i need it...

have you added any applications ?

I've got my Gmail and Hotmail set up on it .. along with msm which I don't plan on using at 5 cents a KB ( I don't know what that really means, but when ever i mention it to cumputer guys they gringe) so far it' s just fun to check my emails on my phone

I have a $30 phone. It receives and makes calls. Period!
I've played with the idea of getting a smartphone, but then I know I will get hooked, and spend even less time with my family, so for now, I'm keeping my cheap phone!

I'm not sure that the Blackjack is running the full Windows Mobile, but there's plenty you can do with them. There are some "hacks" that can make WM look and operate as if it was an iPhone.
