i work on them for a living, and it is a load that they arent bad for you
depends on what lamps but they all put out varying amounts of a and b rays

the only real health savings is the lack of uvc rays

but the spray on's like the versa spa are safe :D

actually ive been in the tanning industry about 4 years now lol and there is no school for tanning stuff, just manufacturers training, its a cool job honestly, i fix em, sell em, install em, move em all that good stuff. alot of the bigger units now days weight 2500lb and take you 12 hours to put together and wire up lol, and they run upwards of 50k a unit

but www.tanningtruth.com is the industry trying to save its ass and get people to not be afraid of them anymore, but the tanning industry is in a downward spiral and about half of all salons are about to go out of business, alot of the manufacturers are closing their doors too
