Yes, as a result of the thread where I asked about high end pc speakers. I tried AMPS method first and just pushed it through an onkyo receiver and some bose. Maybe I did it wrong, but I wasnt as pleased. And I wouldnt doubt fault lies with me. In theory it seems the most logical. Didnt need to spend but 1.98 for the cable for that experiment. So I went for the Klipsch 5.1. Very pleased.

I actually use the 2.1's. I lack the room for 5.1.

If you promise not to laugh, some old 201 series 3 speakers. I use them with the onkyo for listening to vinyl and they rule. But the pc output just lacked depth.
