GFY - Need your opinion

There'a a bunch of soccer fans out there.

Here's my question:

Cristiano Ronaldo's wants to break his deal with Manchester United and go to play for Real Madrid.

What do you all think?

A should he be allowed to go before his contract expires?

B should Man Utd bench him and try to ruin his career?

C should the best players do what ever they want?

IMO that maked them liabilities....

D Is loyalty dead?

This is something I have always had an issue with... You signed a fucking contract. Be a fucking man and live up to your contract.

These athletes today are big fucking babies. The bitch of it is that he will play like shit if he doesn't get what he wants. If I were Man U I would say "FUCK YOU" make him play for Man U and if he plays like shit I would bench his ass for the remainder of his contract.

A team somewhere is going to have to make a statement to these cry babies some time.

Most players nowadays go before their contract expires. It's up to the club who the player is contracted with to get as much money for him as they can.

B. should Man Utd bench him and try to ruin his career?

Why lose out on around £60-80million?!?!? Just to prove a point. There's no point in keeping an unhappy player at the club. Especially when his value is so high.

C. should the best players do what ever they want?

No. But try and stop them. Players agents are the assholes in these cases. They are only interested in one thing. Moving a player on from club to club, and pocketing a rather large sum of money in the process.

D. Is loyalty dead?

Why does he want to go to Real is beyond me.
MU seems a better team now - they just won two big titles, they're the best club in the UK and in Europe.

Also, I consider him overrated. Leo Messi is a FAR better player than Christiano Ronaldo.
Hell, who knows, even Russian's Arshavin doesn't seem worse!

It's also funny how Christiano Ronaldo is considered the worlds best player, while two years ago no one thought that the'res anyone better than Ronaldhino.

And one year ago Kaka was chosen the best player, then again, Christiano Ronaldo is younger and he's kind of a celebrity as well, so he gets "pushed" more.... just like Beckham few years ago..

In a way, the players do the club a favour in the first place by signing long term contracts (5 years or so). As this means the club can always demand a high price for him, rather than losing them after a year or so for fuck all.

I don't think any clubs nowadays believe that when a player signs a new contract, they actually think the player will stay for that length of time...

Beckham IMO was never the worlds best player, not even close. But the Beckham brand would have you believe he was.
